Day-to-day jobs can often be dull though there are more interesting tasks to carry out once you get trained and are trusted.
There are lots of things to learn and there are a lot of resources on hand to help. Some of the most useful things to learn are customer service / retail skills and management skills.
Pay is decent for a retailer and there are additional benefits such as discount and bonus. However the pay is low compared to average earnings in the area.
Early starts, late nights and weekends can be antisocial.
A lot of restructuring currently means some Partners are under a lot of pressure, which is not great for morale.
The business' democratic structure is definitely a positive.
The other Partners are good fun to work with and make the job a lot easier.
