Long hours, nice people, too much bureaucracy

I work 5 days a week and 2 of them are lates, which are becoming more tiring, as i tend to start at 14.30/15.30 and do not finish till midnight or sometimes 1 am in the morning, this is of course affecting my work life balance.Also if we book holiday we are required to pay that back by doing extra weekends
The best bits about this job are the people, having being there for 15 years I have made many friends. I have learned many things,people development skills, computer skills, cash reconciliation, and customer service skills. A typical days work would be to do a morning /evening safe count, do previous days paper work on adobe pack, get checkouts ready for trading, do timecards, training and development talks for your team as and when required, sort out holidays for your team, and do end of day reconciliation. .
