Ricoh went from being my dream job to a placed I absoutely dreaded
Account Executive/Office Solutions Specialist (Former Employee) – Fenton, MO – 7 May 2018
Ricoh was an excellent company to work for when I first started in 2015. The Inside Sales Department was relatively new and it was a fresh energetic place to work. Each individual was trained for approximately 2 weeks and then given an Account list or territory. This was fun and exciting and the company seemed to really care about their employees.
Unfortunately, by the time I parted ways with Ricoh my entire view had changed. The job was no longer enjoyable in any way and I dreaded having to go there each day. I would spend may days contacting my clients, typing up proposals to upgrade their equipment only to have something go wrong on the back end practically every time. It seemed that every week some other change was being put into place to benefit the company and make it more difficult for the individual employee to make a living. Ricoh went from being my dream job to a company I wanted nothing to do with.
Freedom to work your own territory, flexible work hours, great benefits
Poor proceedures, competition with their own dealers, poor compensation, too many meetings
