Sales Assistant (Current Employee) – N. Ireland – 10 September 2017
The place it's self is a friendly environment . Friendly management and staff but on a low contract. One week can get more which is good but take holiday you don't get much or ask can I just do my contracted hours this week. They look at you as if you let them down. They use the staff as can give you more hours and when they feel like it just give you the contracted ones. The pay is minimum wage and for that have to meet targets. If you don't make them you get told need to do better. The management probably get bonus for meeting targets but the staff that do it for them get nothing. Alot of work and targets to meet for minimum wage is a joke.
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) – London, Greater London – 6 July 2017
The company itself is very productive. The store I worked at had a very nice vibe however it probably didn't of times of a busy store where it was a bit more hectic. Overall I like working at Argos and the pay was decent however I had to leave for study purposes which is very unfortunate.
