Planner (Current Employee) – Hatfield, Hertfordshire – 22 February 2017
Dynamic environment, there is a lot of staff to learn at the beginning but once you get more experience job might be boring and repetitive. There is not much opportunities to develop your skills and pay is not great.
Very interesting place to work. Introduces to the 21st century grocery shopping experience. I was in charge of monitoring all the over time and authorizing it for all the associates working at the warehouse. It was my day to day job to be the liaison between the warehouse operatives and the administrative side of the resource planning department.
I had an excellent group of co workers with full of energy and very friendly group of people with an amazingly experienced manager who always looked out for his fellow team.
There was nothing hard that anyone could complain except the hardest was to refuse holidays and explain the situation to the fellow warehouse operatives.
Most enjoyable part of the job was to get the chance to have a cuppa during the hard day of work at your table.
Very good pay rate
No fixed rosters for the year as it kept changing every 3 months.
