Sales Assistant and Office Administrator (Current Employee) – West Bromwich – 2 February 2015
A day here typically consists of greeting and assisting customers with their purchases, questions, queries and concerns. Paying special attention to my surroundings is a must. I need to be able to read customers body language and expressions in order to tend to their needs. I have learned to be exceptionally patient, empathetic and understanding to the needs of others. My office administration role has taught me how to be responsible in the handling of the stores takings. I have learned how to work with the banks as ordering cash and banking is a task I have to take on everyday. As with any manager, they have a lot to deal with on a daily basis and I feel it is my job to make things a little easier by using initiative and working with colleagues to get jobs done efficiently. Organising for sales can be a manic time as there is always so much to get through in a short period but once everything is in place, the fast busy pace is something that I look forward to.
