Working with friends and the flexibility make it an enjoyable job for the younger employees.
Labour targets placed on the restaurant management teams are hard to meet meaning customer service can be affected and staff moral certainly is.
Unfortunately there is a culture to side with hierarchy if issues and grievances are raised meaning issues are often not resolved and bullies continue in the company.company discipline policies are often incorrectly followed (senior managers just taking it for grated lower grades will have no idea of policies)
Progression and promotion in the company is a very real possibility if you face fits, favouritism is a big issue throughout the company.
