I would go to work, and immediately start committing to my job. I would carry out the PLS Lists where I would count the stock and input it in the system to maintain the stock check levels. I would date check the fruit, veg and chilled food. Also the cakes and biscuits.I would then do a full store ticket walk and ensure the prices are correct and are centralised to the product it was promoting. I would then get in the staff for my fill shift. I would set them up with their correct equipment and make sure they are ready to start working. They would be putting out the stock whilst I was on hand to help them and ensure they are working to the best of their ability. Whilst this is all happening I would be answering the phone, answering to till calls, dealing with customer complaints and dealing with any staff issues. I would then nearing the end of the day cash up the 5 tills and bank the cash at the end of the day. Every day in Home bargains was a completely different day and I learned something new everday.
