Shift pattern to be desired
Kitchen Assistant (Former Employee) – Canterbury, Kent – 10 April 2017
Being the new worker in the Kitchen, I assumed I would get a fair amount of dog shifts. However it came to a point 6 months in where I was still on 5 closes a week, which never finished at the time stated. This late closing also lead to me not being paid correctly due to the payment system, so I ended up over £100 down for 2 months work.
Also when asking for emergency cover for a shift, I was declined however after pushing it my boss reluctantly agreed.
Feeling valued was something of a miss in this job and many times I felt simply as the guy who just did the shifts no one wanted.
