A very demanding and highly pressurised environment
Deputy Store Manager (Current Position) (Current Employee) – Okehampton – 1 September 2016
Lidl has given me the financial resources to get on the property ladder and start a family. It is an unnecessarily highly pressurised, demanding and quite frankly unhealthy environment to work in.
A typical 10 hour day at work with a 30 minute rest period consists of relentless and almost impossible tasks that given the resources available to us as store managers are near impossible to achieve.
I have learned a lot from working at Lidl for the 12 and a half years, primarily about myself, what i am capable of achieving and my limitations.
The hardest part of the job is managing time limitations and available resources to achieve the hour by hour, day by day, week by week and monthly expectations and targets.
I simply feel my time at Lidl is at an end and would love to see what other amazing opportunities await me in the future.
