Targeted to sell in every call and given that these were a relatively small group of clients calling relatively small team, they didnt appreciated being targeted every time they called.
I felt very uncomfortable approaching in every call, as it soon became clear to the client that they would be approached most times they call.
Barclays will tell you that it is a "Sales through service" enviroment, but there was clear selling for the advisors target more so than the customers needs.
Being targeted on your time away from the phone and time between calls was also a pressure.
Barclays make sure they get their money's worth out of their staff.
They do, however, have a great social life, and do great charity work
