Enjoyable and rewarding place to work with some great training provided
Business Manager (Current Employee) – Bedford – 1 September 2016
Before the day of work I will have a list of tasks I write myself, so I have a clear plan for the day. I try to leave certain days free so that I can either catch up or give extra support. On a typical day I will ensure the restaurant is running well on arrival and if there are issues I will complete a travel path with the shift manager coaching them the opportunities and complimenting what they have done well. Review my emails and then begin my tasks from my daily list. While completing my tasks I will check on my shift managers making sure they are happy and the restaurant is running well. I follow my plan and then write a list for myself for the following day ensuring I prioritise the most Important tasks are completed 1st. On a weekly basis I give lists out to my salaried team and experienced shift managers and follow up on them throughout the week. Most of my breaks are while I am working. The hardest part of my job is ensuring my managers perform well when I am not there. The most enjoyable part of my job is speaking to my customers, listening to their feedback and building relationships with them.
