Amongst the serving of the regulars, there were fun times to be had. Almost always short staffed, the time goes quickly when busy. Learned valuable social interaction skills as well as how to pour a pint early on.
The most enjoyable part of the work is the social aspect with both the staff and the customers.Being able to talk to anyone about anything is a positive.
The hardest part of the job was the long hours at unsociable hours. Expect late nights and to be at the beckon call for those precious extra couple of hours.
