poor place to work, great staff, terrible staff turnover!! get a union!!
Chef assistant (Former Employee) – The priory, monkspath, solihull – 27 January 2014
I was eager tomwortk for this well estabiushed company, good pay was promised more hours, well trained, good benefits. Clearly it was all a lie!! You get bullied into doing your job correctly! Micro managed , and reviewed, supervised to an inch of your life!! Early starts, surpise , surprise no appreciation for any extra effort made! Your expected to do produced high quality food and service food every time and pulled up for being even a minute late. Staff not very good with new staff! Clearly they sell you out the minute you make the little mistake. Made to feel small and work hard, scared into doing the job good every single, time no room for error or mistakes! No up to date training. I never got induction trading from the start, just put to work as soon as my crb cleared!! All bout profit with bupa and with management! Not helpful with job security!
Elderly left to be treated like a walking profit. Even though they pride themselves in high quality of service! Well, for get it!! Ur treated as a work horse! They use a whole lot of agency, a really high staff turnover!
Don't work here unless u like being scared into doing a good work to military pocition!
I was used to work there until they could have another chef come in who was off sick for over a year!! And even I did a better job! No staff loyalty, lied to from the start bout the job!!!
Poor food supply, poor kitchen conditions and very, very poor equipment!!!
nice staff, good wages. free magazine.
no job security, poor management. low staffing, bullied into doing the job right.
