Pros - working with young people in trying to make a difference to their lives.
Cons - Not enough hours in the day to complete anything. Never leaving on time. Never having a lunch break. Computer facilities for the residents were out of date.
Felt separate from Head Office at Broadside. No team working. Decisions made at Head Office by Management, staff were told of the changes rather than being involved or asked if they had an opinion.
Probably the worst six months of my working life.
Pros - working with young people, colleagues, reasonable working environment, although no where to go at lunchtime.
Never had a lunchbreak, nearly always left late.
