Personally i would rip the whole company apart from top to bottom! The company seems to not give two hoots about looking after it's workforce. Communication is virtually non-existent. They struggle to recruit because of a very poor public opinion of the company and because most people who have worked there leave because of the poor health and safety and pretty lousy pay. My own experience has been very eventful and at times I have felt totally let down by the brick walls that have been placed in front of me by management within this company. Management at all levels is downright awful! If you want to improve this company it needs a root and branch total overhaul and the entire Board and Executive from top to bottom being fired and new considerate and caring staff being brought in who actually have some people skills and man management ability! As I said communication is terrible and the general feeling amongst staff is wanting to leave because they dont feel at all valued!

Always!!! And a lot of parcels are well in excess or 25 kgs! This is a very intensive job...especially if you have to unload the trailers! You can occasionally expect an injury from parcels hitting you (as the trailers are poorly stacked at the three main hubs...especially Hatfield) or from the sheer physical strain of the job! Dont go there if you don't want or expect to lift heavy objects.

The payment structure is dependant on how you are employed/contracted to Yodel. Yes the home delivery team are paid by parcel using thier own vehicle and fuel which then has to be invoiced to the Yodel. But the employed drivers are paid hourly and use the company's vehicle and fuel
