Lead Technician (Current Employee) –  UK21 May 2019
this company does not value experience or knowledge, this is shown when new starters are paid more than exisiting staff, the upper management have no concept of field engineers who work and are the face of the company.
Training is freely given to office staff but field and workshop staff have to fight tooth and nail to get it unless it's mandatory.

Not a nice place to work
Production Operator (Former Employee) –  Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire10 April 2019
Worked here on the shop floor for 2 years, and was glad to get away. Badly managed from the top down to team leaders. Work area, tools & equipment not good enough to fulfil work output required. Kept pointing out on a weekly basis how things could be improved, but nothing done. Management openly encourage employees to snitch on each other if they were breaking rules/correct procedures, which caused bad feeling and falling out. My team leader had no clue how to lead a team, no clue how to treat and talk to people correctly, and they were not liked by the vast majority of workers. Not a nice working atmosphere at all, because people were unhappy working there. I spoke to people who have worked there a very long time, and they said it used to be a lovely place to work, because it was managed correctly, and people felt valued.
Pros
Worked with some lovely people. Good canteen
Cons
Badly managed. Unsatisfactory tools & equipment

Horrendous place to work
Material Handler (Current Employee) –  Hoddesdon20 March 2019
All I can say about this company is the management operate to a unethical stanadard to suit there individual agendas . Also they use next of kin information to spy on there employees family members. This company Is not how it presents itself .
The Human Resources team are solely for the companies benefit not the employee.
Any company event day is solely for the purpose of managing directors to showcase there music bands at cost to the company which is great if you want to abuse your position. Also health and safety and guideline is a real issue xylem struggle with .

Don't work there
Service Engineer (Former Employee) –  Nottingham, Nottinghamshire26 July 2018
Worked hard for them for years and then treat like dirt. There is a click In the management & supervisors which needs sorting if you complain to one it goes no further it will be covered up by the click. If you complain to another top manager watch your back as one person has already mentioned. Will want you to work like mad but rob you of money where they can.
Pros
Free drinks
Cons
Robing you

Productive and informative
Administrator (Former Employee) –  Highbridge9 March 2018
Part time generally the day consisted of job sheets being entered onto a spreadsheet, reconciled monthly and emailed to the client followed by monthly meetings to ensure all customers requirements were met.
Deal with any issues and pass to the accounts to invoice.
Pros
fairly flexible
Cons
not too much work to do

absolutely terrible place
Contracts Administrator (Former Employee) –  Farnborough, Hampshire17 January 2018
management nasty, vindictive and happy to knife staff in back to save themselves. I was only there for a short while and saw a lot of excellent staff walk away due to terrible managers, other staff pretty much constructively dismissed on lies told by senior managers. Work here for a short while if you have to, but watch your back.
Pros
managers didn't have a clue
Cons
really bad company

Interesting and diverse workplace
Field Sales Engineer (Former Employee) –  Warrington23 May 2017
An excellent company to work for, I would without doubt be still working there now had I not been made redundant by them!
They seem to have a five year rota of performing good business and a then one year slow down and during this is when I unfortunately was made redundant, This is because the bulk of their business is working directly and indirectly with water authorities and they in turn run procurement programmes called "Amp periods" and these run on a five year programme.
Pros
varied projects
Cons
Redundancy

I would get my work through on my PDA and carry out all the days tasks, I learnt how to manage my time ands my jobs through out the day, I worked mostly on my own be sometimes as part of a team, the hardest part of the work was some times the lack of it, the most enjoyable part is when you find the fault and fix the system

Senior Financial Analyst (Former Employee) –  Farnborough, Hampshire12 December 2016
Good hardworking environment. A typical day starts at 9am and goes on to 5.30pm. The management structure was very flat and the focus of the business was centred very much on margin
