I was applying for a temp job so the interview was really quick. Main questions were if I'd had customer service experience before and what good customer service meant for me. I think their main priority was somebody who is flexible and is happy to work early/late. They said for normal interviews they would do a group interview, do teamwork exercises, get me to describe my favourite Morrisons product etc but because they're hiring so many temp staff mine was a lot shorter.
Your contract means nothing now, they change your times to suit their needs hence no work life balance, full time contracts are non existing and they make you stay behind but don't pay you
Because regional manager from australia/Portugal is absolutely shockingly rude...staff heard him leaving soon and are so secretly happy.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Wm Morrisons Supermarkets a better place to work?
Start listening to the staff in regards to concerns & needs. start taking health & safety seriously stop allowing staff to break rules and reduce chances of accidents!!
10% but 20% Christmas time or sometimes Easter but always when you get paid, well they have to get their money back somehow!
What would you suggest Wm Morrisons Supermarkets management do to prevent others from leaving?
I would get rid of area manager Ivo and then staff will be happy again instead of feeling deflated when ever him come him make staff feel inadequate you have to have your staff feel happy and proud to come to work and be proud to work for them...staff have heard him Visa run out soon and him leaving soon they are secretly happy and can't wait to be them normal selfs again.
Toxic management team in store and upwards, no teamwork anymore everybody just look after themselves an absolute horrific organisation, culture to be at in this company.
