7.5 tonne driver (Former Employee) –  Tunbridge Wells, Kent29 November 2019
Never finish on time they give you. 4 day week and they will squeeze every hour out of you. Even if your finished early you will be sent to help someone else.
Management don’t care about you.
Joke of a company.

Fork Truck Driver (Former Employee) –  Kingsnorth-on-Medway, Kent25 November 2019
Very nasty managers dont trust them. The whole place is run like a concentration camp. You are timed for everything you do . And they love sacking people . I was not sacked , but it was nice walking out . Ask them how many people have left in the past month

Used to be good
Import Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Grays, Essex1 November 2019
13 years I worked for wincanton inside p&g plant in grays Essex.
Years ago the managers used to be fantastic and used to be a good firm to work for.
Now they change management every year and everyone has no clue how to run a business.
Now expect far to much and work you like a slave.
Everyone is jumping ship so avoid it. Only thing it was good for was wages

Corrupt and sexist
Warehouse Operative (Current Employee) –  Trentham, Staffordshire1 November 2019
The Management/HR department at wincanton screwfix trentham is extremely corrupt and sexist as they treat female staff as if they are superior to male staff regardless of there position in the company and dont take the male staff seriously whatsoever and dont deal with grievances from a male staff member in the same way or anywhere near as quickly,if your male dont consider working here

It’s a job
Warehouse Operative (Current Employee) –  Rochdale, Greater Manchester30 October 2019
Pays the bills, otherwise you probably wouldn’t work there if you didn’t have to, the pay doesn’t go with the job, working in a cold environment. To many people trying to get up the ladder. It’s not what you know, it’s who you know

Loading Bay Operative (Current Employee) –  Rochdale27 October 2019
Management could be better... The way that is managed is like.. they care more about rates when is not busy and you can't make it then when you can easily do it... Put a lot of pressure to the workers and there's some favouritism with the colleagues sometimes ...

Hgv 2 home delivery driver
Hgv 2 delivery driver (Former Employee) –  Harlow27 October 2019
A very good company to work for with good training and good management. However the B&Q contract is heavy work with manual handling of tiles and kitchen flat pack up to flats on any level with as many as 25 drops a day . Job and finish but often 12 hour days on paper which we rush to get done in 10 and a central london run (all flats and stress) can leave us older drivers hurting for
Pros
Drivers mate, good office backup
Cons
Heavy work, no sick pay when injured

Delivery Driver (Current Employee) –  Branston, Derbyshire M&S contract27 October 2019
You work 4 out of 6. The shift pattern is horrible you have 2 weekly reduce rest in a row, you work the 3 minimal reduce rest days in row you have 15 hours days and you get payed only 12, they root you for 13 hours minimal and you have a constant 13 drops 3 collections, and once every 3 weeks they give you a 5 day rest because by law you need to pay back the reduce rest. Staff turn over is horrible.
