Milngavie Waitrose - Certain Managers are vile bullies and huge liars. They have no people skills, can't play 'shop' let alone run a shop and slag off customers. They have no respect for customers or staff. They are only out for themselves. If you want your Manager to be a drug taken desperate tart who sleeps with married customers then work here. Worst Managers (excl. 2) I've ever had the delight of working with (stearing clear off)

Still there but why people are leaving - 'modern waitrose' does not work - less "partners" (air quotes) and all expected to work various roles - great in principle but no good when each manager wants you to do a different task. Task focused not sales focused. Too many manangers, most of whom haven't experienced work elsewhere, too many who are lazy and not hands-on. Favouritism, unfathomable promotions. Basically you'll do well if you kiss butt but if you genuinely want to contribute ideas as partners apparently should, be ready to be told 'that's not how we do it/that's not your job'. Zero support for mental health - i have one supportive line manager who openly admits they don't know what to do (but still offer support, this is a good thing not criticising them) the rest just ignore me after time off. The new working model is a sham, just a cost cutting strategy. Fine as a part time if you just want to stack shelves/sit on a till and are prepared to switch off your mind

Sadly still there. Hopefully for not too much longer. Horrible place to work. Management have favourites who get promoted without even training for lower positions. They are very rude and inconsiderate to less favourable partners. Unfair pay reviews. No understanding of mental health or disabilities.

Absolute terrible place to work. You are required to do everything and anything whilst the Mangers do nothing apart from sit in the CCTV room watching you. Milngavie Waitrose Managers have no people skills, no management skills and honestly do not have a clue how to run a shop. They are bullies and look for ways to penalise you. Waitrose are definitely not a Partnership. The Managers are sneaky, dishonest and treat you with no respect. Do not work in the Milngavie store!!!
