Can be a nice place to work
Executive Assistant (Former Employee) –  Paddington, Greater London20 May 2018
This can be seen to be the most disorganised, unplanned, chaotic place to work in. There are work pressures, lack of management support. The job was mis-sold and misrepresented.
Pros
Good people with lots of skills, active and ambitious strategy, exposes the willing to new technologies
Cons
Very large global infrastructure spread, difficult and complex change, some chaotic experiences in the day-to-day, remote and matrix management

Working with people who know the business and felt I learnt a lot every day. The industry is going through a transformation and Visa is well positioned to leverage its assets to continue to transform payments around the globe.
Pros
Professional / Intelligent people, Good Benefits
Cons
Lacks the right investments in HR

Misguided chaos held together by heroes
Consultant (Former Employee) –  Reading, Berkshire25 April 2018
The technology is good, most of the people are good but top level management really need to listen. They think they're doing a lot better than they actually are. Generally its an unstable environment which given the nature of their business is a big story waiting to happen. They have the potential to be so so much better.
Pros
Decent people, good facilities
Cons
Deaf ears for implementing change safely

Good Company to work for
Specialist/Expenses Consultant (Current Employee) –  Swindon10 June 2018
I hold excellent communication skills, ability to work in a targeted environment - as an individual and as part of a larger team. Placing strong emphasis on international business etiquette I seek a manager's position that will present me before individuals whom I will not only convert to solid clients but will create an urge for loyalty and repeat business for many years to come.

The re-org did not aid the number of empires. Way to many chiefs and poor guidance from senior stakeholders and managers caused confusion in the ranks

Delivery Director (Former Employee) –  London27 March 2018
Some real dorks masquerading as directors. Mostly incredible managers and staff. Very professional firm at the cutting edge of what is possible and delivering in a consistent way. Resource Solutions is rubbish. Try and avoid them if you can, very nepotistic.
Pros
Best of the best
Cons
Let down by poor leadership

The company was in a state of flux when I worked there, with an upcoming takeover on the horizon, hence it is very difficult to give it a fair and through review.

Bloated Political Company Living In The Past!
Service Manager (Former Employee) –  London7 January 2014
VISA Europe a very well known organisation, however behind the brand is a dysfunctional political company, which has become a mecca for incompetent managers to prosper within!

All IT job adverts will ask for ITIL Prince 2 qualifications etc. however you will not need them as the company runs on paper based systems supported by Jurassic era IT and the lack of any document management and file sharing systems adds to the fun. If you need a project document you may be told to take it off a notice board and photocopy it as it is on an individual’s PC and this ensures that they can control everything and make you fail.

Political witch hunts are supported by the incompetent managers and known to senior management,, effectively a report on your colleague system, where seeded staff make false allocations to discredit anyone that comes up with ideas to improve things which challenge the status quo.

Management comments such as “VISA is not concerned with money but with effort” demonstrate how removed from reality this company really is!

A new senior member of the management team joined VISA Europe whist I was working there and proceeded to gave a initial motivational task which must of being based on the Steve Coogan “Dearth of as Salesman” presentation (photos of the kids and problems with in remembering her age!), but nothing of substance

There is a new CEO there that was starting to make changes however the culture is so poor it will take a very long time to fix. Many new staff leave within the first 3 months and the company accepts this as part of the VISA culture!
Pros
Good Benefits Package
Cons
Politics Lack of Business Process Poor Management
