Addicted to extreme management science - totally inappropriate and caused the company to (effectively) go bust.
Research Fellow (Former Employee) –  Isle of Wight3 November 2019
Work involved forgetting your expertise and talent and concentrate on stupid management drivel Including; filling out endless competency matrices (the last one was 124 elements long); watching numerous company training videos none of which were appropriate or useful etc etc and attending many other brainwashing exercises.

Production Operatives (Former Employee) –  Newport, Isle of Wight29 October 2019
At the start of the day you was given a job or a list and you have to work with your team to get them done during your shift dealing with any problems along the way., the hardest part of the job is the long 12 hour shifts and having to change day to night shifts and catching up on sleep. I have learnt a lot from working here including time management, teambuilding, problem solving and many more.
Pros
salary, friendly
Cons
long shifts, change of day/night shift patterns

Poor Management
Logistics team member (Former Employee) –  Fawley, Hampshire11 February 2019
Initially, MHI Vestas seemed like a great company. Following training of our team at the MHI Vestas main site at Stag Lane, Isle of Wight, we all wondered why everyone in the main blade fabrication warehouse looked so miserable. A few months down the road, we all knew the answer to this question.

Poor management by managers and team leaders played a major part in this review, as did poor organisation. I personally witnessed bullying and the breaking of health and safety requirements.
Pros
Reasonable salary
Cons
Terrible Managers, Team Leaders, decision making and work conditions.

Micro Management, Track you at all times
previous Employee (Former Employee) –  Scotland8 November 2015
If your face fits and you have friends in high places your work life will be better, if not expect to work more hours to pick up their slack. no work life balance as they do not care about your family time. expect to work 14 hour days. Safety goes out the window when they need you to do something. Wind Farm contracts are too short so no job security. Always penny pinching and monitoring your movements from when you start until you finish. cross check all your times against the tracker. Keep adding more work onto your already busy day/week. micro management,
Pros
None
Cons
Monitoring your movements from start to finish, micro management, cross checking times, more and more work load put onto the technician
