Cashier (Former Employee) –  London, Greater London14 October 2018
I worked in London. Apart from friendly cashiers. Promotion is only for the select few, no matter how well you work. No, thank you for getting through floods , snow drifts. No real support given, although father died from cancer. Only interested in the money they handled.
Pros
Staff
Cons
No real support given

Undervalued & Underpaid!!!
Cash Processor (Current Employee) –  Birmingham, West Midlands15 July 2018
If you happen to be a friend or a family member of the management then you’ll prosper regardless of how incompetent you are at the job. I’ve seen many capable people leave the business because they’ve been pushed out due to bullying & racial harassment, instead of dealing with these issues I’ve seen management actively collude to cover them up because the perpetrators are in many cases friends or family members of the management.

Most of the senior management have been there since leaving school & after 30 odd years I feel this is what contributes to the lack of professionalism & cavalier attitudes they display.
Pros
Central Location, Free Parking, Secure Environment
Cons
Lack Of Career Progression, Bullying, Favouritism

Shift Manager (Former Employee) –  Birmingham14 June 2018
High pressure due to nature of the job.

Workplace culture is mostly good, however there is a blame culture which can cause tension

Pay and benefits are very good, including, pension, health care, rewards, bonuses, social events

Difficult part of the job for some individuals is meeting

Enjoyable part is the people you meet, from all different backgrounds
Pros
Good pension

Cash Processor (Former Employee) –  Bristol, Bristol8 June 2018
All the work was routine and scheduled, mistakes from other centres and banks kept me on my toes. The people there made the job enjoyable but I feel like I had to leave to better myself and to pursue a career.

Cash Handler (Former Employee) –  Manchester29 April 2018
This role was mainly accounting for millions of pounds in cash in coins, where we'd weigh cages of different denominations of coins and tally up the value on large industrial style scales and state of the art computer systems.

Fantastic Company that lives it's Values
Senior Project Manager (Former Employee) –  UK3 June 2017
Open and honest culture where every employee has regular access and communication with all levels of management including CEO where ideas are encouraged and everyone is treated fairly. A structured environment where the company values of "Mutual Respect", "A Right First Time Approach" and "Do what you say you will when you say you are going to do it" are lived by all levels throughout the organisation. A company who's vision and strategy is clearly communicated to all throughout the business and where effort and performance are rewarded. Most enjoyable part of my job - the people I work with who share a common goal and support each other without question. A fantastic company...
