The interview was ok Working there at the start was good but decreased rapidly. The training was a pdf and note taking! There wasn’t much after that Staff were nice No mobile phones they have to be kept in a locker. It’s a very stressful company to work for and the bonus scheme looks great on paper but you have to have experience in b2b business so unreachable
The main objective of my job is to work with suppliers and customers in post-sales activities. This involves working on many different tasks throughout the day which means you never have the same day. The work place culture is easily the best part of the job. Everyone is very welcoming and keeps the office atmosphere very positive
Management are always there to help and support if there is any issues , the most enjoyable part about the job is getting to know the people inside the company and progressing from within to get to the stage you want to be. The atmosphere within the workplace is always positive and energetic. Utility Hive offers good sociable working hours. That offers a good work life balance.
I have only been here 4 months but the culture here is like no other. Everyone is so welcoming and there are lots of things to do at lunch & break. We go out every Friday after work which is always great fun. It is relaxed compared to other call centres I have worked in, not as pressurised.
working at utility hive was the best decision i have ever made. a typical day here is you come in to start your shift at 9am and are greeted with lots of smiley faces and warm welcomes. then you have your morning meetings to set targets for the day. if you need any help all you have to do is ask and they will be straight over. i have learnt so many new things here like how data works but most importantly how to be yourself around people who accept you. the management here is out of this world. always laughing and joking with you always by your side to help. the culture here is incredible always lively always talkative no one left behind.the hardest part of the job is the first day when you walk in to people you dont know but then you realise how sociable and welcoming everyone is. the most enjoyable part would be coming to see your friends 5 days a week. overall i cant say one bad word about the company because overall its outstanding.
friendly helpful knowledgeable
The salary advertised is just bait, do not fall for it. The commission structure is completely unrealistic, there is no chance of getting the 30k/50k advertised. The data is shocking and just stuck on the dialler, constantly ringing the same businesses over and over again
Abit of a laugh with the other agents
Management is corrupt, office politics all over the show
Great bunch of people to work with and love the Friday socials. The staff are very welcoming and atmosphere is friendly with great incentives e.g. early finishes, vouchers etc. - Detailed training with the ability to push your boundaries an excel. Learning and development manager always offers you to undergo further training as much as you need to thrive and succeed within the business. It is my first month here and I already feel like part of the family, thanks to the team for making me feel welcome!!
Autonomous environment with plenty of support when required. The business is built on entrepreneurs and its refreshing seeing the director get involved with all the departments providing motivation and sharing his knowledge. The training and development manger tailors a training and development plan to the individual, which helps employees utilise their strengths and helps develop new skills. It's an extremely friendly office, everyone works well together and celebrates the wins. Sociable bunch of people, we go out every Friday for drinks and food!
Utility Hive is a productive workplace with vast amounts of support from managers to ensure you take the most out of your development journey. The training from the start and throughout is amazing, with multiple opportunities to grow and progress. The office is a fun, lively and welcoming environment whilst also maintaining a professional atmosphere. Each Friday all employees go out for food, etc!
each team member of the admin would chase up all their active cases and communicate between the customer and the contractors. process any documents and forms that needed to be processed for new contracts.
not two customers were the same
the breaks were short.
