There isn’t one, all departments only seem to be interested in getting awards for this and that (it department seems to be the worst for this). One year ( a couple of years ago) 25% of the it department moved on to other posts outside the uni (this included quite a few long time time servers who you thought would never leave and 70% of one team this time last year were offered voluntary redundancy or could apply for their own jobs - nothing Voluntary about it, this was well hidden by the the uni, strangely none of latter staff got the post they applied for ). It a matter of “look after yourself and Watch your back” nowdays at Derby uni. You maybe the “flavour of the month” now but beware.
