Don't waste your time!
RMN (Current Employee) –  London, Greater London13 September 2018
UCLH regularly advertises for psychiatric nurses to join them. What they don't say is that the actual employer is Pulse Nursing (Temp) Ltd trading as Bank Partners. The pay is £13.54 an hour weekdays, day rate, but that includes 12.5% holiday pay component. If you deduct that, the hourly pay is £12 an hour. It's been that for the last 7 years. 0% pay rise a year every year for at least the last 7 years!

Care Providers and Your World agencies get lots of work at UCLH so I would advise any RMN to join those agencies instead if they want to work there.
Pros
Lots of shifts available
Cons
Lowest pay in London

Very professional work place
Honorary Urology Fellow (Former Employee) –  London, Greater London27 May 2017
UCLH is a great place to work at and get experience. People there are very professional, and keen on providing excellent medical service to patients.
I learned pretty much how to work in a team, and how important is regular meetings and discussion.
It is really a very busy hospital and work seems to be flowing continuously which may be tiring but enjoyable and beneficial.

Do not work for Bank partners
Radiographer (Former Employee) –  London, Greater London15 April 2017
These are some of the most incompetent people I have ever worked with. They do not act in your best interests, I would stick with your agency as they have the option to find you elsewhere.
Pros
None
Cons
Poor rates, act for the trust to drive down hourly rates

High standards and productivity
Enterprise Systems Analyst (Current Employee) –  London4 August 2014
A typical day of work pressure may involve dealing with urgent outpatient clinic template as usual operational activity with a project deadline i.e. updating a number of user access levels for an imminent go live pilot project. Dealing with NHSmail queries - Leavers, Joiners, frequently logging out, password resets, generic mailboxes etc.Evaluating adhoc requests to install non-standard softwares, PC generic mail accounts, access to a website blocked via the firewall, access to Wi-Fi etc. Each day is varied and challenging. Expert knowledge gained from experience, hard work, prioritising and delegating helps me to enjoy dealing with the day to day operational activities.
Pros
Varied challenges. Learn from experience.
Cons
Limited time and resources to deal with workload.
