HR Support/Administrator (Former Employee) – Finchley, London – 10 June 2014
During my time at The United Synagogue, I was made to feel part as a team straight away.
I Provided front line HR Support and advice to management, lay leaders and staff on all aspects of employment matters. I supported HR Business Partners in all aspects of Employment issues, attended Sickness and Disciplinarily panels. Along with supporting managers in the recruitment of staff, through advising on job descriptions, arranging advertisement internal and external. Preparing application packs and organising interviews. On a daily basis I prepared all contracts of employment, variations to contracts, bonus letters, processing all leavers including issuing all correspondence for permanent, temporary and casual staff as required as well as Training new employee’s on HR System as part of the induction process. I processed all DBS checks all members of staff and managing the maternity process for all appropriate employees, ensuring that the maternity policy was adhered to. I was responsible for Inputting, monitoring and extracting employee and management information onto and from HRNET.
I ensured that employee records were kept up to date and maintained relevant filing systems for HR department working closely with Payroll Manager on all payroll issues, ensuring these were dealt within a timely and efficient manner. During the summer months I managed all recruitment of summer camp employee, ensuring DBS checks had been carried out and contracts/letters issued along with the process for all Jewish festivals, ensuring all Synagogues had sufficient employees to carry relevantmore... festival activities and advising all Synagogues on Annual leave, along with training some administrators on the self service HRNET.less
