Royal Marines Commando (Former Employee) –  Plymouth1 January 2017
Excellent people! Hard training to achieve the standards required made for benefit of all who serve. I joined the best family in the world and whenever I meet someone from the same background, I have a cheeesy grin and warm feeling in their company.

Health and Safety Advisor (Current Employee) –  Plymouth17 May 2016
everyday i learn something new, either about one of my colleagues or something about one of the buildings or contractors we have working on site. I spend my day on advisory visits and speaking to different people on a number of different things and chatting about best practice and work ethic in order to create a good health and safety culture.
Pros
good group of people to work with
Cons
sometimes there can be heavy paper workload

Design Engineer (Former Employee) –  Plymouth, ENG18 January 2016
Although the MoD have put me through many courses and have been supportive of some personal situations, I felt completly unappreciated due to being a younger member of staff in a pre-historic atmosphere.

Cleaning Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Plymouth, ENG6 February 2015
Began work at 6am and finished at 9am, from work I attended an access to higher education course to gain the entry requirement for my Psychology degree.
From the office I would unlock several buildings inside the dockyard before starting daily maintenance of my allocated buildings. At 8am I would then go round to allocated buildings maintained by co-workers to mark off list when inspected and standard had been achieved.
During my time working I enjoyed being able to make a difference and felt satisfaction and pride for doing a good job.
Pros
Making freindships
Cons
Early hours outside in the winter weather.
