Stores Assistant (Former Employee) –  bicester20 September 2015
In a typical day i would take deliveries and store them, make items from schematics, general house keeping, prepare work to be anodised and deliver goods, working with other staff or on my own, welding or plasma cutting when needed jobs would last from a few hours to a week.
Jig making and one off jobs were something i would do and enjoy and being asked if we could cut time in production were something i was extremely good at.
Pros
overtime, enjoyable atmospher, great progression, a sense of acomplishment
Cons
dangerious enviroment, low starting rate of pay.

bicester m.o.d.
hgv class1 and 2 adr driver (Current Employee) –  bicester6 May 2012
At start day you had to obviously do all truck responsabilities and plann routwes and notify destinations of time and update when needed, were almost free to do this in the best way to your decision, but of last 3 yrs this has changed dramatically.
learnerd responsabilities and customer reliance of material delivered , it must be there .]
management knew your charecter and if any problem told you in no uncertain way but only that and if you did your job they left you alone
Co workers are helpfull
findind someone , although this was nnot often, on a military base when not at his place of work, i.e. q.m or office
items required delivered were allways accepted with the knowledge that appreciation by many, i was/are proud of this situation, and at days end allways my motto great all on the truck came off the truck.
Pros
resposability
Cons
not many to say really
