Take for less but not give for more
Worked there for a year in Leeds as sous chef.
Salary promises and not met, working over-contracted hours with never a bonus or over time pay.
But if one week you do below you contracted hours they will deduct.
Pretty sure it’s illegal. But instead of hanging around I left as the people in head office like most head office don’t
talk to their staff about how they feel, but things like that tell me they don’t want to care. As long as the numbers are there, GM’s are happy when they’re usually the laziest people with the biggest salary.
Wouldn’t recommend, specially if your a chef. Don’t waste your time go for a smaller company. Not as much he said she said in regards to what you get told from higher management.
Where someone might remotely want you to succeed/progress rather than one just keep the boat going for their life.
