Place of work
I’ve been working at TSYS for over a year now. The job can be stressful at times but it definitely depends on how you deal with situations and how calm you can keep under pressure. The part I work in is 24/7 service but this has been changed due to covid recently. The shift pattern changes every 3-4 weeks, from earlier shifts to later shifts so everyone has equal share of the different shifts. TSYS have been very on top of putting safety measures in place to fight against covid and temp checks are done every time you enter the building. I enjoy working here and they have been really helpful when I have been going through my mental health battles.
Pros
Wages and benefits
Cons
Shift pattern not for everyone but it can be adapted.

Great people to work with
Some really good managers some really poor. Job itself is easy and training is good. If you are good then there is plenty of chances to move up. I think the hours for the call centre are fairly regular but its not great for a social life
Pros

Cons
Weird and long hour

trainers are good but content is not
the trainers are actually really amazing and do all they can to help when people get out onto the floor, there isn't much preparation in regards to getting people ready to deal with those difficult customers. there is also a massive turnover, in each training group there will be at least 15 people with only one or two passing probation. a lot of people think they're amazing and a call to another department can leave you feeling stupid because of the way they talk to you. the time you spent going to the toilet is monitored, time between each call is monitored so things like going for a wee or getting a drink of water can be stressful and i often had to hold it in due to fear of being reprimanded for using the toilet. as for management, they are hit-and-miss when it comes to how nice they are. some can talk to you like you're something they've just stepped on and some of them are really nice people
Pros
good benefitsi.e. medicash and optical vouchers
Cons
all time off the phone is counted to the second
