Sales Specialist (Current Employee) – Middlesex – 12 September 2018
This is a company that goes by the value that if your face fits then you will go far if it doesn't be prepared to be messed about. Bonus structure is disgraceful they will try whatever way they can to take it away from you. Pay is rubbish for the amount you have to do. Targets are unrealistic. Area manager is harsh and horrible and two faced. Work balance is disgusting can actually send you into depression.

Ensuring all customers are given the best service possible & want to recommend us to family & friends. Have the right conversation with all our different types of customers. Coach & develop my team by motivation & continuous feedback. Staying positive with your team when sales aren't there. Knowing my team enjoy coming to work everyday.
Worked with them for 2years . Hours not good management needs to improve like need new management. Bonus hardly ever . Rate of pay poor for what you have to do . No progress in the company . It’s just a constant battle every day. Would not recommend this job.
Service Specialist (Former Employee) – Manchester, Greater Manchester – 10 June 2018
Is a good company if you are working with the right staff. There are a lot of store managers that love the power and can ruin staff morale. Have a good and precise plan for the future of the company, if your looking for job security go here.
can have very easy days when quiet
can be long hours and a lot of heavy lifting, a lot of customers moaning at poor tilers blaming the store instead of the fitter
Service specialist (Current Employee) – Barrow-In-Furness – 18 May 2018
They provide learning experiences such as courses, hands on development with displays and demonstrations with materials from different brands. The professional relationships created with trade and retail customers make the job feel worthwhile.
The hardest part of the job for me,personal, is waiting for customers to come in. The in store jobs become very repetitive and with lack of team efforts the mood in store becomes very flat and the days drag.
With a 40 hour contract doing shift work and over time, its difficult to have any social or home life, especial with most members of the team having family's.
I found that the lack of personal life wasn't worth the wage even with the commission on top.
Commission, Simplified learning process, Time given for learning, Form professional bonds with trade and retail clients.
40 hours Shift work, Little time for a social life, small team, Open 7 days a week very, Hard to put holidays in, Team members don't work cohesively.

Good money for what is actually involved in the role requirements but very long hours and can be very physically demanding as well as mentally. Opportunity is available and Senior Management are always around.
Management are available for discussions, good pay, opportunities for advancement.
Long hours inc weekends and late nights and very physically demanding.
Store Manager - Tile trade and retail sales (Current Employee) – Oxford – 23 January 2018
Work life/balance varied. Salary and benefits were excellent Nature of the position was excellent Most enjoyable - customers plus staff / team development workplace culture excellent Personal development excellent Increased my management expertise to encompass trade account management Product knowledge
Have spent over 3 years in retail, now seeking a more administrative position/challenge which will provide me with additional expertise.
Heavy lifting, unrealistic targets no home life samples and mystery shop is more important then selling actual tiles.
Service Advisor (Current Employee) – London, Greater London – 14 January 2018
Ok place to work good job security If you think you just sell tiles and go home your wrong. Company are more bothered you sell a sample then complete a sale. Very hard to get a bonus now Your just a number sadly like most big companies Not really any home life as very long hours at least 45 hours a week. Not many weekends off. Poor commission %
Branch Manager (Former Employee) – Devon – 28 November 2017
Work life balance is shocking. Pay basic wage meaning your staff are always looking for another job. Training is nonexistent in most case. If you want to be a manager then this isn’t the place for you, if you're a yes man then go for it. Senior team seem very miss informed about how people actually feel about working here. Don’t even get me started with HR!!!
