To hire staff on permanent contracts. They will then offer more loyalty, and stick with you through tough times. To end the culture of 'they're just temps', as many of these temps are in senior roles, and have been employed for their knowledge and experience that other staff do not have.
To show equal dedication to the students, and their journey. These young people are not simply a means to an end, and should not be treat as such (as they are by most department heads).
If staff and students were better respected and listened to, then the college might finally get somewhere.
