At the People's Supermarket, one is surrounded by fun co-workers and a great culture that helps the local community. Tasks included cooking in the kitchen and working the till.

A great place to work in the heart of London's Kings cross, with an amazingly diverse customer base. The skills available to learn at TPS range from learning to operate the till and serve customers, to handling the supermarket's income and ordering the supermarkets stock.
The hardest part of the job is the physicality of it, you're on your feet for most of the day and are often stacking shelves.

The management is great with many members and volunteers there to help out.

The most enjoyable part of the job is getting to know the clientele.
Pros
Great food in the supermarket
Cons
Rate of pay could be a bit higher
