What is the most stressful part about working at The Good Care Group?

As with any role there will be challenges, but we are here to support you every step of the way. As a Professional live-in carer you will have a dedicated Care Manager who knows you and your client. They will offer support and guidance whilst you are in placement, both over the phone and during face to face supervisions. You will also have access to an emergency on call team 24/7, 365 days a year - there will always be somebody here to support you. We have an online Carer Community that makes it possible for you to stay in touch with your carer colleagues across the country, sharing advice and learnings from your placement.

It’s important you also take the time to focus on yourself and your own wellbeing. Whilst in your placement you will have a 2 hour break each day. It’s important you let your Care Manager know if you are not able to take these. We also offer a number of different rota patterns so that you can pick the pattern that you feel will give you the best balance between working and valuable time off with family and friends.
