I did enjoy this job the first 3 months i was working there, then the rest of the time, i would get to work and literally sit there doing absolutly nothing, other than sorting out peoples filing cabnets, and keeping the kitchen area and stationary cupboard clean and tidy.
The times when it was busy, i didn't want to go home, it was such great fun engaging with the clients and the two people i shared an office with were great and got on so well. While it was quite Pete used to test me out of accountancy books and he taught me all about coding notices, investments, tax bands, gift aid etc.. Just never got the chance to go in for AAT as they laid me off. The management were too laid back and all the staff take advantage which i don't like so much, i like good structure!
free food in presentations about changes in tax and information on pensions etc..
