How does someone get hired at The Air Ambulance Service? What are the steps along the way?Asked 12 August 2018
Hi, you will be asked to complete a short application form and submit your CV through our online portal. You do not need to complete any 'profiling' ect though the facility is available if you would like to on your candidate portal. Most roles will be a one stage interview process with some roles two. Nothing out of the ordinary! You need to make sure we are right for you as much as vice versa!Answered by The Air Ambulance Service9 September 2019
Hi there. We will of course ask you what you know about us and why you want to join - its important to us! Then some competency questions around your previous experience!
We do lease our helicopters as its far more cost effective than buying one and means we can help more patients!Answered by The Air Ambulance Service9 September 2019
I enjoyed it at first but soon saw how the company was run and how people’s donatiins were wasted and how dreadful staff were treated.Answered 24 March 2019
I hope so great service and what they do is amazing its just a shame they have employed the wrong people to be managers as they really do let the company down they dont have people skills they are letting the staff down on a daily basis the staff who do make a difference they cant keep or they find away to get rid of them they say they use TAAS but that is a joke they dont follow there guide lines so why they state this. as for Daventry this is the worst run place they dont care about human wrights and as for the staff they are just numbers theres no point in complaining they will just find an excuse to end your employment like they have done to two drivers in last 6 months the most annoying thing its the actual air ambulance that suffers because with out the staff they can not receive the vital funds they need the only way they will survive is if they remove the managers they have and find ones that will make a difference ones that know how to do the job they are employed to do if you do get employed watch your back because if you do have any problems you wont be arround long as they will find away to get you outAnswered 26 August 2020
