Yes they do although i had no previous experience so went to an open interview and did some work and questionaires aswell as interviews when the bramley store was first opening and they called me and gave me a chance and told me i got the job

Yes, Tesco does a DBS check I think it's called, this can take a long time to come back apparently.
In my case, it was quite quick about 2 weeks.
