Work load under staffed
Rosters are not fair the same staff get all the enhancement shifts
They don’t give you a role on roster

They are always short staffed and mess you about to fit you in were there short

In my experience you be better off working bank than permanent so you have the upper hand in what you pick

Compensate loyalty
Tewv is a respectable Trust who do a lot of good for patients individual needs. Also a range of illnesss and wide age range, there are things that need rectified at management level ie too many chiefs and not enough Indians.
Pros
Staff are like family. Good team work.
Cons
Too many managers, who don't care, they just want to tick boxes.

Great
Love working for them but the wage is low you do get enhances but compared to private company it’s low . Even if you have experience they start you off on the lower wage if you not worked for the NHS before. I find is unfair if you have all the experience and the qualifications

Supportive trust with understanding community staff.
TEWV is a great trust to work in. They have a wonderful support system for staff. The community team is very supportive especially of international medical graduates.
It can become busy, and administrative work needs doing too.

Overall, it's a place to start.
Pros
Good academic support.
Cons
Can become quite busy and lots of admin work.

Dissatisfied
Although we had a fantastic team and manager the workload was overbearing. The focus of the NHS now seems to be as a political vote winner. The great emphasis is to complete time consuming audits which give a very bias picture of the work undertaken and not to serve their just purpose to benefit care. Make the NHS a multi party service.

Helped and enjoyed my job a lot
Worked as s Health care assistant cared for a variety of people younger and older with mental illnesses throughout my 30 yrs service I thoughtfully enjoyed it but did not like the 12 hr shifts at the end of my time there ! This meant seeing less of my family ! So retired last year looking for something less hours ! Need to be busy and always loved department stores and people and clothes
Pros
Lots of discounts off certain places insurance ! Restaurants etc
Cons
Long 12 hrs shifts no good at my age 62

Poor management
Poorly ran with inept management with no background in nursing. Complete disregard for staff safety in what can be a very dangerous environment. Always short staffed and as long as training targets are being met for funding they don’t care
Pros
Enhanced hours
Cons
To much CQC involvement

Good team, sinking ship
Enjoyed working with a team of caring individuals, however high workload, stress and poor funding.

Understaffed and not much job satisfaction. Sad to see colleagues struggling particularly with work life balance and work stress.

Would very strongly avoid community role if newly qualified band 5.
Pros
Supportive team. Lone working.
Cons
Extreme pressure on service. High workload.

Avoid
It is unstaffed, underpaid, and management are rubbish.

If you enjoy being regularly attacked with no Response staff to come to your aid, or Attack Alarms not working, then this is the place for you. But in seriousness, it is simply too dangerous and ineffective at achieving the goal of optimum wellbeing for patients.

The environment is dangerous and unsafe, and can’t wait to get out of here.
Pros
Literally none
Cons
Everything
