40% of card payment tips are distributed to the kitchen, as of feb this will be dropping to 35% AND being shared with the bar staff.
I think people fail to realise just how hard the kitchen team work before jumping on the band wagon!
It all depends on your shift! Also what store you work at. If I work a double shift I get an hour break to eat and sit down. Then when we are tidying up at the end of the day, we can go outside for 10 minutes as long as shift leader or manager knows and let's us.
In all honesty I don’t advise even going.
