Mixed feelings on this Machine
Great training given, no doubt about it, they don't miss anything out.
Very good strong upper Management, they are confident, helpful & mostly as supportive as possible within their powers.
This is where it stops. For gods sake....JOIN A UNION..... Your life can be made a misery if you don't watch your step in the lower echelons. I have NEVER - more... experienced & witnessed such a shockingly high turnover of staff in my whole working life. It's pitiful & soul destroying. Such good staff, simply lost to competitors & "other opportunities".
Not a single care assistant in the high Dementia Uni ... - less
ProsBrilliant training, strong understanding upper managenent, extra hours can be picked up if needed at a higher pay rate, competitive enough hourly rate, encouragement to advance through further learning.
ConsAlways short staffed, difficult working conditions, unpaid breaks, not allowed to use the nice coffee machine, No staff parking allowed on the premises which can make you late clocking in & you get pay docked, Ghastly matronly uniforms.
