Fun workplace
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) –  Epsom, Surrey26 March 2017
A typical day at work was not that busy however it got busy during lunch time. I learnt how to use a till and customer service. The management was dealt well as if i was not able to work i could tell them and have the day off. The workplace culture was fun as if it did not close i would still work there every Saturday and anytime i can as extra work time. The hardest part of the job was dealing with many customers at a time. The most enjoyable part was getting to know colleagues and working together as a cohesive unit.
Pros
Short hours
Cons

A lovely warm environment
Health Care Assistant (Bank) (Current Employee) –  Cheam, ENG2 June 2015
This is a workplace that has a lovely environment and staff work well as team members.

There is much support for family and friends as well as for the patient. There is a lot of training programmes available which help to develop ones skills and knowledge in palliative care.

I enjoy patient contact and time allows this to be possible in the hospice. Allowing time to find out more about the patients and their needs, likes, desires during this very difficult time.

A rewarding and nice place to work.
Volunteer (Current Employee) –  Sutton Surrey19 February 2013
Sorting out donations, tagging and pricing items and displaying them in the correct way. Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy. Dealing with customers and helping with their needs. Management are fair and share the work load equally. Co- workers are friendly and easy to work alongside. The hardest part is carrying heavy donations ie; furniture and large electricals through to the back of the shop. The most ejoyable part is working as a team and seeing donations being sold to help the Hospice continue to care for terminally ill patients.
Pros
within walking distance to home
Cons
unpaid
