Working hours are unsociable not a good work life balance. Required to work weekends however if team members are off sick you are expected to cover, where as team leaders should if there is a shortfall

Team members are great higher management and team leaders are awful and unexperienced

It has lost it's way. Management ignore the volunteers. Expecting more from them than any paid employee would expect to do. When this restructuring was proposed it raised much opposition. However this new management team put their business and management 'skills' above experience. After over 50 years as cadet and adult membership, My resignation along with the rest of the division, was regarded as no more than removing something unpleasant from ones show. Would I encourage someone to join. No!
