If you were in charge, what would you do to make Splendid Hospitality a better place to work?
I think I would ensure staff rates at our other hotels were more guaranteed, particularly in London. I know I would take the opportunity to visit our other sites more and get to know the teams there if it was easier to get the right rates. It is easy for London workers to stay in our hotels outside London
What would you suggest Splendid Hospitality management do to prevent others from leaving?
Pay people an appropriate wage. Provide clear management structure and ensure you have managers who are doing the job.
Great - I didn't know it when I started but having experienced it I would always recommend it to the right people
One of the clients was very stressed and passed that onto us, making the job more difficult and not allowing us time to eat on a 8 hour shift.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Splendid Hospitality?
If recruiting do not just look over experience. Look at overall achievements and experience and skill. Despite having little experience within the role.
