I had a 'manager' with no managing experience who was horrible. Moody, tearful, and generally unhelpful. Add to this the bullying nurses (due to banding snobbery) and it was a disaster. Glad to leave after three months!!

Go for an interview and talk about what you know. Alternatively, know someone, particularly if you attend church with them or something; unfortunately, nepotism is alive and well.
