Great compared to my previous jobs in care with other providers. 7 -7.5 hour shifts with a two week regular rota. No nights if you work days and vice versa . alternative weekends off. Always overtime available if you want

Very good question - unfortunately, due to the low pay - compared to competitors in the area; long hours and lack of work and home life balance; lack of career progression; 'if you face doesn't fit' mentality in homes - i'm not sure why anyone would want to work at Somerset Care.
