Much worse post Covid for a couple.of reasons. Firstly the obvious challenges faced by the entertainment industry as a whole but also they have lost a lot of staff loyalty and respect. During Covid-19, despite the government providing the Corona Virus Job Retention Scheme to pay 80%of wages, they refused to furlough their larger casual workforce. A scheme which was non relatable, paid by the government at no cost to themselves. Management were furloughed but casual staff left high and dry with no money, no shifts and HR cared not a bit about desperate situation staff were in having lost large amounts of work. We were told tippy for benefits or get a new job.
Future is bright.
Until HR Management get their heads out the sand and sort their s**t out nothings going to change. There's only so many people who Security licences. Annoy to many and they won't have any staff.
Going to be round for a long time and a good place to build a career
I can't say in polite words how terrible it is working for ShowSec, I had a serious accident 9years ago which included a serious head injury (Brain injury) also a broken back which was managed to be rebuilt. The support i received from ShowSec was horrific.
