I had a 1v1 interview.
I wore a shirt, blazer, skinny jeans and a pair of Old Skool Vans.
The first question I was asked was
•What do you know about Schuh?
I told them that their company began in 1981 and was orginaly going to called lizard shoes, or lizard for short.
The questions after, were all about me
•How would I get to work and can I drive
•Do I shop at Schuh
My interview was on a Thursday, I got offered the job on the Friday and asked to start work on the Sunday.
Question I asked covered things like
•Rate of pay
•Where to park
Be yourself, stay calm. Be chatty and dont be afraid to ask questions. If you dont have alot of work experience under your belt tell them you're willing to take on all training and excited to work for the opportunity to work for Schuh.
If you start temporary you only get 1 40% discount and a few 25% & 15%. It isn’t much.
You get called in for a group interview which is fine just try and learn something about the company if you can and be positive and talkative.
I’ve got an interview tomorrow morning at schuh but they didn’t get me if it was a group interview or not. Also they ask me to bring an object what represent myself. Has anyone else had something similar to this? Because I’m a bit nervous...
I feel the company is very good and for the future I feel they will continue being successful. Really feel they need to work on hours of shifts and there breaks but apart from that. I enjoyed it very much. Friendly staff there, who are easy to get on with I’ll give them that.
Schuh employees do not wear a uniform but we do wear name badges and an IScan whilst we work. This allows us to express our individuality and personality more effectively.
