You have the opportunity to visit services and meet people. Residents are on the panel and their questions are really good. I had to do an exercise on record keeping. Very relaxed but thorough interview.
Read the website and job description. Don't be pit off if you have never worked in care before as full training and induction is given.
I read their website information which was really useful and helped me understand the service before the interview.
There is no point preparing. they ask stupid questions irrelevant. most questions they ask is scenarios when your manager is not there! they don't want a senior they want an assistant manager! but don't want to pay the money! the manager wants the senior to do all her dirty work basically., there are better jobs out there where you can progress.. waste of time applying , as manager employs friends!!!
Prepare to be interrogated.
Reserach the company and have experience with adults with complex needs.
