Runwood Homes had the best care team but the management were poor the Directors seem more concerned with money than with staff satisfaction and as a result of overworking many good carers left. Staff work hard under pressure with 3 staff to a floor at night with one being the team manager and over 12 residents and if there was a one-to-one or medication were done then only 2 staff would be left to run the floor while management saw to other duties. It would work well if the higher ups would spend more money in making sure staff are not over worked to exhaustion with minimum wage and end up leaving. The staff that worked there have been good but its just the fact you feel that the directors are not concerned with staff ratio as long as they get their money. I did enjoy my residents who were a lovely bunch of character and staff were good though some usual back stabbing as common with these roles but keep your nose down, do your job and don't get involved with it. Nights are much better than days.
